I have really become a fan of Jesmyn Ward in the last year, so when WHERE THE LINE BLEEDS was selected as a discussion book for the Reading Women Podcast as part of their Working Class Stories theme in June, I knew I'd be picking this book up. After trying to survive through endless bullying and taunts, Mona decides to end it all. On one cold winter night, she travels deep into the woods, in the midst of a horrific thunderstorm, hoping Where The Line Bleeds|Jesmyn Ward that she would perish and Where The Line Bleeds|Jesmyn Ward the awful pain would fade away from her miserable li.
